Dr. Montoya, or Dr. M, started his dental career as a pediatric dental sterile tech and eventually made his way up to a surgical dental assistant while working part-time as an assistant during dental school. You can say he’s had a lot of experience with dental assisting!
Dr. M loves teaching dentistry at all levels from complex implant rehabilitations to oral surgeons all the way to teaching simple systems for predictable dental fillings to new assistants.
When Dr. M isn’t talking dentistry (which is very rare), you’ll find him with his wife and boys outdoors either surfing, hiking, or swimming.
